5 Boozy Quick Breads for a Quick Buzz

When I’m experimenting in the kitchen, I usually have a spatula in one hand and a bottle of liquor in the other. It tends to help make these “science” experiments more delicious, more fun, and usually, more messy (Drinking makes me clumsy and I am a true baking scientist that experiments on herself...meaning, lots of taste tests).

If I’m not experimenting with new and different boozy cake flavors, you’ll see me adding liquor to whatever else I can get away with. And right now, that’s bread. Here are some of my favorite alcohol-infused sweet breads. They’re easy to make and the perfect opportunity to get away with booze for breakfast.

Boozy Whiskey Banana Bread

So many great words in one title. Best. Breakfast. Ever.

Boozy Spiced Pumpkin Bread

If it has pumpkin and rum, can you call it P(rum)pkin bread? I am now.

Liquor-Infused Irish Soda Bread

Irish bread infused with Irish coffee liqueur cream. Kiss me, I’m...hungry.

Drunken Monkey Bread

This recipe calls for Bourbon but also works with Amaretto, Cognac, and Brandy (oh my).

Bread pudding with hot butter rum sauce

I don’t know if this is a bread or a pudding but it’s awesome and here it is.
